DEVELOPMENT OF DAM SEN CULTURAL PARK

Dam Sen has planned area of 50 ha, in which 20% is lake, 60% - greenery and gardens. Annually, Dam Sen Cultural Park invests heavily in new works for serve its sightseers.

Achievements

The Park is always improved by new works and rich programs in all stages, by maintenance of available works to serve its sightseers.
- Dam Sen has some its specific features such as Roller Coaster, Monorail, Ice lantern, Musical Fountain Stage, Water Stone Instrument, Water puppetry, and animal circus and Zoo... which always attract care and are embellished to serve sightseers in best way. - The Park permanently co-operates with relevant authorities of the District and the City in organizing activities celebrating traditional events, cultural festivals...
- The Committee of Ho Chi Minh City for continuous years recognizes the Park as an establishment implementing Green and Clean Environment in good manner.

Awards gained

- Labor Decoration 1st grade on 14 January 2003.
- Labor Decoration 2nd grade on 15 October 1998.
- 05 diplomas of merit issued by Ministry of Culture and Information .
- 01 Flag of excellent emulation in 1999 - 02 diplomas of merit issued by Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.

Orientation of development

To satisfy increasing requirements of sightseers, Dam Sen Cultural Park is oriented to maintain and develop a most modern entertainment complex in Vietnam with its slogan of “Dam Sen Park – a Wonderful World”.
